The Roomba 4100 is an autonomous vacuum cleaner manufactured by iRobot.

The Roomba won't turn on

There is a problem with your power supply or battery.

The battery is dead and needs to be replaced

If the Roomba won't turn on, it may have a dead battery. Depending on how frequently you use your Roomba, the battery pack will need to be replaced every 1 to 3 years. If you have tried charging your Roomba overnight and it still won't turn on, the only repair option is to order another battery from a Roomba vendor and recycle the bad battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Guide

The Roomba is not cleaning effectively

The Roomba is not picking up dirt, hair, or other debris.

The filter is clogged and may need to be replaced

If your Roomba is leaving debris or dirt that should've been picked up, the filter may be clogged. The filter needs to be cleaned regularly or replaced after excessive use. Refer to Filter Replacement Guide

The main brush is not cleaning or rotating and may need to be replaced

If the main brush is not cleaning or rotating, it may need maintenance. The main brush may need to be cleaned if it is clogged with debris. It may need to be replaced if it is worn down from excessive use. Refer to Main Brush Replacement Guide

The flexible rubber brush is not cleaning or rotating and may need to be replaced

If the flexible rubber brush is not cleaning or rotating, it may need maintenance. The flexible rubber brush may need to be cleaned if it is clogged with debris. It may need to be replaced if it is worn down from excessive use. Refer to Flexible Rubber Brush Replacement Guide

The edge brush is not rotating

The small blue brush that sticks out from underneath the Roomba is visibly broken or fails to rotate.

The edge brush is broken and needs to be replaced

If the edge brush is not rotating or is damaged, it may be broken beyond repair. The edge brush is delicate and may need to be replaced after excessive use. Refer to Edge Brush Replacement Guide

The brushes are falling out of place

The main brush and the flexible rubber brush might fall out of place if the brush guard constraining them is broken.

The brush guard is broken and needs to be replaced

If the main brush or flexible rubber brush fall out of place, your brush guard may be broken. If it is broken beyond repair, a new brush guard may be purchased from a Roomba vendor. For brush guard replacement refer to Brush Guard Replacement Guide

my 4100 has been in storage for a couple of years. I have everything plugged in right. I get no power indication on the 4100 or on the charger pack that plugs into the dock. Any ideas?

My Roomba 4225 shuts off after 5 minutes. What might be causing that problem?

My 4100 works for about 30 seconds then stops and goes again another 30 seconds and repeats 4 times then throws an error 4 beeps, I have cleaned the rollers thoroughly, same result. Any clues?

Hi i have problem.

The roomba start clean after 3min stop and red battery blinking.

When i check the battery its 14.2v

What can be the problem?
