Samsung Galaxy A17 Repair

The Samsung Galaxy A17, also known as the Galaxy A17 5G was released in August 2025 and is the entry-level smartphone in Samsung's A phone line-up, below the A37 and the A57 models. This lineup replaces the previous A-releases of the A16, A36 and A56 models.

The A17 model aims to accommodate the essentials features in everyday life with a 90Hz, sleek design, durable IP54 rating along with Samsung's camera setup. The entry-level model has a lot of similarities with its higher tier model's, but in general has downgraded specifications compared to the A37 and A57.

To identify your phone model:

2. Scroll to and tap About phone
3. Look for Product name

The Samsung Galaxy A17 is visually similar to its A37 and A57 counterparts but with the distinctions of larger bezels and a teardrop styled front camera cutout compared to the A37's and A57's hole punch front camera design.

The A17 comes in the colors Black, Gray and Blue.

The backside of the Galaxy A17 is made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic, and has three cameras in a rounded rectangular house at the top left of the backside, with a single flash to the right of the camera house. In the bottom center of the backside is the Samsung logotype written in all capitalization.

The right side of the phone has a single elongated volume button and a power button with a fingerprint sensor bellow, both on a slightly elevated base. The left side of the A17 is sleek with a discreet microSD / SIM slot.

The bottom of the Galaxy A17 has a Usb Type-C port in the center with a pinhole microphone to the left of the Usb-C port, and speaker ports surrounding both sides of the center section.
