Battery Will Not Charge

The battery will not charge when the screwdriver is connected to the charging bay.

Charging Light Not On

If the red charging light does not come on when the screwdriver is connected, check to see if the charging bay is connected to a power source. Also, make sure the screwdriver is seated properly in the charging bay.

Damaged or Corroded Charging Bay Contacts

Be sure to unplug your charging bay from the power source. Inspect your charging contacts for any debris or corrosion, as this will affect the charging capability. If they are dirty, try to clean with a lint-free cloth. Also, if these contacts are damaged or bent, the screwdriver will not charge properly. For additional information on how to replace the charging contacts, consult the repair guide.

Defective Battery

If the screwdriver is placed on the charging bay while the charging light is lit and it is not receiving any charge, the battery may be defective. This screwdriver has an internal battery, consult the repair guide for replacement.

Screwdriver Will Not Turn

The screwdriver will not turn when the trigger is pulled.

Lock is On

Be sure that indicator on top of the screwdriver is showing a directional arrow, and not a solid line. The direction can be selected by sliding the orange switches above the handle of the screwdriver.

Battery is Dead

Check to see that the blue light on the front of the screwdriver is lit when squeezing the trigger. If it is not, charge the battery in the charging bay.

Drill Bits are not Fitting in the Screwdriver

Drill bits will not seat properly in the screwdriver.

Not Using Appropriate Drill Bits

Make sure the drill bit you are attempting to use is the correct style and size for the screwdriver.

Blocked Bit Socket

Examine the bit socket to make sure there is not any debris in the way of the drill bit. If there is, remove the debris with a cotton swab.

Screwdriver Will Not Effectively Drive Screw

The screwdriver will not fully drive the screw into the intended surface.

Incorrect Torque Adjustment

Follow the guide on the top of the drill for an appropriate torque setting, based on the length of the screw.

Incorrect or Damaged Bit

Check to see that the bit fully fits into the screw head. Also, inspect the bit for any wear or signs of being stripped.

Worn or Corroded Screwdriver Brushes

If the screwdriver is experiencing intermittent operation or power loss, this may be due to damaged brushes. The screwdriver's brushes need to be replaced or cleaned.
