Methode 1: Nadelträger justieren

  • Der Nadelträger ist oben mit einer 2 mm Inbusschraube befestigt. Lockere die Schraube, um den Nadelträger minimal zu verschieben. Beim ersten Mal sitzt sie ziemlich fest, sei vorsichtig.

  • Um den Nadelträger zu verschieben, klopfe ganz leicht z.B. mit dem Griff eines Schraubendrehers auf die Achse des Nadelträgers.

  • Wenn du vorne auf die Achse klopfst, bewegt sich die Nadel zu dir hin, der Abstand zwischen Nadel und Greifer wird größer.

  • Wenn du hinten auf die Achse klopfst, bewegt sich die Nadel von dir weg, der Abstand zwischen Nadel und Greifer wird kleiner.

  • Senke die Nadel ganz ab. Du solltest gerade noch ein Stück Papier zwischen Nadel und Greiferspitze schieben können. (Bild 3). Die Nadel muss beim ZickZack leicht nach links und rechts gleiten können.

  • Drehe die Inbusschraube wieder fest.

  • Prüfe, ob die Maschine wieder sauber näht, insbesondere bei ZickZack-Stichen. Wenn alles gut ist, prüfe noch die seitliche Verschiebung und springe gleich weiter zu Schritt 8.

Method 1: Adjusting the needle carrier

The needle carrier is attached at the top with a 2 mm Allen screw. Loosen the screw to slightly move the cantilever. It's pretty tight the first time, be careful.

To move the needle carrier, tap very lightly, e.g. with the handle of a screwdriver, on the axis of the needle carrier.

If you tap the front of the axle, the needle moves towards you, the distance between the needle and the looper increases.

If you tap on the back of the axle, the needle will move away from you and the distance between the needle and the looper will decrease.

Lower the needle all the way down. You should just be able to slip a piece of paper between the needle and the looper tip. (Picture 3). The needle must be able to slide easily to the left and right when zigzagging.

Tighten the Allen screw again.

Check that the machine sews cleanly again, especially with zigzag stitches. If all is well, check the lateral displacement and go straight to step 8.
