Damaged wheels of your grocery cart can cause your cart to not steer properly or even worse, collapse on the spot. It is important to replace them to avoid such situations and unnecessary expenses.
For the replacement, you can get an extra pair of wheels by buying new ones or use wheels that are in good condition from another cart that is not being used anymore. Just make sure that the wheels are of similar size to the old ones and that the hole is big enough to slide through the axle of the cart you’re currently using (some wheel sizes and center hole sizes may vary, so get a pair of wheels that are compatible with your grocery cart). Before starting, make sure your work area is open and free of any obstacles.

Using a large needle nose plier, take out the stoppers from each side of the axle.

Where can I find a 5 " wheel to fit that axel? Will it allow for a built in hub? I found a cart just like the one you are working on!!
Sorry I was so unspecific. I'm in SF. COLES HARDWARE only carries 10" and up, and Lowe's is fun if you have all day to wander the store. I don't feel like gambling on AMAZON. I looked at Walmart, but some are over $20 a piece. That doesn't make sense to me. I guess we don't have a home Depot.

Insert the locking pins in each hole at both ends of the axle until the pins are halfway in the hole.

Using the hammer, tap the pins until they are entirely inside the hole.
I just need the Locking pins. Is there specific item/size number for the lock pins? Where/How can these be purchased? Thank you for yourhelp.
