Pull the red bin release trigger, on top of the cyclone. This will require some force.

Push on the red release button on the bottom of the bin.

The bin should slide away from the handle.
You didn't answer my question how to put bin cover back on bin. You just showed how to remove bin!!! That isn't the problem.
You didn't answer my question how to attach bin lid which fell off. Please continue and include directions to attach the cover.

My bin seems to be more difficult to open all of the sudden and I have taken it all apart and put it back together. Still having the issue where the bin doesnt open when the cyclone pops up. HELP please

I am unable to open the n. Red button is stuck shut. Is there another way to get it open?

I have had the unit for quite a while and this is the first time it has been stuck shut.

Every couple of months my bin sticks firmly and I am unable to open it. This has now required two return visits to the shop where I bought it, and still it happens regularly. For a top of the range Dyson which cost me around $900, it is disappointing. Vacuum is about 18 months old and very carefully looked after.
