First of all you need to remove the 10 screws holding the laptop together.

Then use plastic or metal spudger to separate the bottom cover from the keyboard and touchpad assembly.

Once you open it, carefully unplug the keyboard and touchpad connectors. Be very careful not to damage them!

Once you open it, it should look like this.

You need to unscrew the only screw (marked in red) to be able to remove the HDD.

When you do that, just unscrew the 4 screws attatching the HDD to the bracket and replace it with the new one.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

This can indicate a problem with the SSD itself and/or the drivers on your laptop. Have you tried to load the drivers manually during Windows installation?
