My grandmother has a Kenmore portable dishwasher and it fills with water stops when full but arms never spin seems to skip wash cycle the drains and fills again without the arms spinning again then seems to skip rinse cycle then drains again and starts the drying cycle any help would be appreciated ty

The sequence you describe would point to a plugged filter or a bad pump. Everything works, it times thru the wash and rinse cycle but if the arms don't turn/wash, water is not getting to the arms. They turn from the force of water coming out the holes.

I've tried looking for all the filters not sure if there's any on the bottom outside of the dishwasher but I'll have to tear it all apart again to double check everything lol
If there is NO water coming out the arms then it is probably the pump. A completely blocked filter is unlikely.

I got it fixed I took everything underneath it apart and cleaned everything and put it back together and now it's running like a champ just like a new one had to have been a clogged filter or filters somewhere lol but it's running great thx for all the help guys much appreciated

What is the model number of the dishwasher?

@jayeff not 100% sure I know it's the one with wheels and a wood countertop like piece kinda looks like an old cutting board I should be able to get the model number tomorrow.

The model number would help as knowing it then the tech sheet might be found which makes things easier to find out what's happening.

I managed to fix it after pulling almost everything underneath it apart so had to have been a clogged filter I cleaned everything out lol now it's running like a champ just like a new one I appreciate all the help guys thx alot
