Responder a: Maintenance to the rear axle.Hi @ratchetwrench Here’s a link to a service manual for an EZGO electric cart but it is for the wrong year as it says starting model year 2001 Hopefully it may still be of some help if you can’t find the correct manual. There is no mention in it about the grade of oil required for the rear axle, only how to check the level and replace it if necessary see p.Q-1. Alternatively you could contact EZGO and request a service manual for your year model cart and ask them about the type of oil as well. Here’s a link that shows how to contact them.

Responder a: My keyboard and. Mouse is not workingHi @spas , If you have no working keyboard (or touchpad) then you cannot reset the computer too easily as you need to issue some sort of directions to the computer, either by keyboard or touchpad input Try a Power reset to see if restoring the BIOS to its’ factory default condition will enable the laptop to regain the keyboard and touchpad functions. Here’s how to do that: Make sure the laptop is turned off. Disconnect the charger from the laptop (if connected) Remove the battery from the laptop. Here’s how Dell Inspiron E1505 Battery Replacement. Press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 10 seconds to remove any residual power from the laptop. Reconnect the charger to the laptop and switch on the charger (leave the battery out at this stage). Turn on the laptop by pressing the Power button as per normal. When the laptop has booted all the way to the Windows desktop, check if the trackpad works. If it does open a program such as the internet browser that you normally use e.g. IE11 or Chrome or Firefox or w...

Responder a: Temperature gauge not workingHi @scottjeffrey , You are fortunate that you know which connector pin it is. Hopefully there is enough slack in the harness to be able get to it to fix it. Usually the wires in the connector plug (socket?) are crimped to the connector pin, either male or female (don't know what you have) They don't strip the wire but the connector pin has "teeth" which cut through the insulation to get to the wire when it is being crimped into the pin. If you are lucky,to get the pin out of the plug (socket?) holder, on the top of the plug (or the bottom- if it is a double row) for each pin you might see just a bit of metal in the plastic in line with each pin. This is the "barb' on the pin which prevents the pin moving back in the wire direction when the plug is inserted into the socket, or to allow you to remove the pin easily by just pulling on the wire If you push down on this bit of metal with a pin, nail etc whilst simultaneously (gently) pulling the wire back out of the plug the whole connector pin should come out so ...

Responder a: My ematic tablet is not workingHi, What is the model number of the tablet? Have you tried pressing the reset button for about 5-10 seconds, to see if this resets the tablet back to normal? It is found on the back of a lot of Ematic android tablets You will need a pin or opened paperclip to operate the button as it is recessed in a hole in the back cover. Do not confuse the hole with the microphone inlet hole. You may damage the microphone if you shove a pin in there. Check the tablet’s layout description in the User Guide that should have come with the tablet to help verify the reset button’s location, (if it has one that is).

Responder a: it does not turned on anymore.Hi @eyatilman , Check that the DC input jack has not been damaged and also that the fuse on the AJACK board is OK. After that you may have to go further intoo the circuit to determine what the problem is. Here’s a link to the service manual for the keyboard. To download the file when the sentence below the Document preview box changes from This file is downloadable free of charge: …processing…to This file is downloadable free of charge: Download , click on Download as this is the link. Be patient it takes a little while to find the file. Here’s an image taken from the manual showing the relevant section of the circuit (click on image to enlarge for better viewing). The manual has a full parts list which will help if you need to obtain a replacement part.

Responder a: How to replace the displayHi, Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the display in your laptop. As for a guide on ifixit on how to replace the display assembly in your model laptop, this is what ifixit says: “The majority of repair guides on iFixit.com are written by people just like you”. If you would like to help others in the future replace the display for this laptop, create a guide as you repair yours. Here’s the link to the ifixit Creating a Repair Guide which may be of some help.

Responder a: mic stopped working but works fine on my phone helpHi @mrmorgan , Has it worked OK before when connected to the controller? If it has worked before when connected to the controller, there may be a problem with the controller’s headphone connection. What is the make and model number of the controller? If it has never worked when connected to the controller, as there are two “common” wiring connection modes that apply to headphone jack wiring, perhaps you need an adapter which reverses the microphone connection in the headphone jack plug to suit the particular wiring mode in use by the device that you are connecting the headphones to. Here’s an image showing the two common connection “modes”. (click on image to enlarge for better viewing) Here’s an example of such an adapter. (if you click on the smaller box below the adapter image on the webpage, you’ll see how it works to alter the microphone connection. There are other suppliers online, just search for 3.5mm 4-Pole TRRS Standards Bi-Directional Adapter (CTIA to OMTP) to get results.

Responder a: How to replace my display?Hi @yasho13 , Here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop. Scroll to p.52 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the LCD front cover. There’s no mention in the parts list regarding adhesives etc so perhaps maybe there may be another problem as to why it’s not holding correctly.

Responder a: Where can we find replacement speakers?Hi @jdiddy Can’t really help regarding parts but here’s some information that may be of some help. Here’s a link to the ifixit Sony SRS-X5 Repair guide. Here’s the Sony part number for the speaker 151026B1510268 If you search online using the part number only, you’ll get results for suppliers. Unfortunately all of the ones I found say “currently out of stock”. You may have better luck. You may be able to source a compatible replacement speaker by checking what information is printed on the speaker driver. There should be the speaker’s impedance value in Ohms (see image for Ohms symbol) and its’ power rating in Watts (W). If you use this information coupled with the diameter of the speaker (remove it from its mount in the case and measure it) you may be able to find one to suit, i.e. search for (insert diameter) 4 Ohm (insert W) speaker. An example of your search term could be 2.5” 4 Ohm 5W speaker. I have no idea if the example figures mentioned are correct for your particular speaker, it is just an example ;...

Hi @captainsnowball ,
FYI
voilà French exclamation - meaning “There it is!” or “There you are!”
The “red thing” in Step 3 is most probably an IR filter, to filter out visible light to improve IR operation
Hi, As yet I haven't figured out how to amend the link to the User Guide for this radio. The one in the Repair Guide no longer exists, so here is one that still works
