wire cut from the microphone? The MDR-XB450AP are headphones only and do not have a mic. If you have a broken wire than you can either solder a new connector to it or resolder it to the speakers. Depends on where the wire is tore off. Consider posting some good pictures of what wire and where it broke. That way we can see what you see.
