LCD upgrade to OLED
I want to upgrade my LCD to OLED for my iPod classic. Would that be possible?

The circuitry is very different between a LCD and OLED systems.

@gman13579 no. You would need a screen that is "wired" for your iPod since there are no standard connections. There are no manufactured OLED screens out for an iPod.

But is it possible to take the connection of the board for the standard screen off and place a new one on the board? it is just a standard ribbon cable style?
@gman13579 only if you have the wiring diagram for the old connector. There are no schematics for the iPod's so we will never know that.
