I just my Acer Aspire e5 575g only a week ago and just today, my usb port stopped working. I have tried device manager and disabled the selective disable system. Nothing still. My usb port still provides power, but no data. What can I do?

Sounds like 1 or more of the pins on the USB port have for some reason become unconnected to the logic board... if your willing you can try opening and inspecting the port and re soldering the the four pins for the USB (9 for USB 3.0) or try taking it to a computer repair shop (not geek squad ) if you have never soldered anything before.
If you do open it post some Pictures of the port on the inside

The thing is, I think I saw my USB port in BIOS. I will send a snapshot of it.
Would love to see it! It may just be a drive bus problem but it's not normal so only have one USB on it there would usually be something else like a network card or a drive or something with it
When I disassembled my laptop to see the USB port, I resoldered it . Nothing happened. I did see a headphone jack with it for that specific usb port. Could it be the audio driver? If not, I did order new usb ports for only 9 cents just in case.

just try to reinstall your windows or make a restore to the date was work fine
then try to update your bios if nothing happen be sure its about logic board

Only one port. The rest are fine.

This is the second time my audio port has stopped working, first time it went back to factory, without computer for two weeks. worse computer I ever owner, and I have had a lt. good luck getting your answer.

The USB 2.0 ports are replaceable ($0.99 on eBay). Mine went out shortly after the warranty expired. So, while replacing the USB 2.0 card, I upgraded the RAM to 16 GB, switched the hard drive to the DVD bay and added a 480 GB SSD. System is blazing fast, now. The 3.0 port is part of the motherboard. These typically run about $300 from reputable sellers, such as AscendTech.
