Using the power button does nothing

The battery may be dead. Plug in the charger cable that came with the device into the wall and then into the charger port on the device. Ensure that the charging light on the right side of the device is on once plugged in. Let device charge for 30 minutes and try the power button again.

Internet symbol shows an X or using the web does nothing

If the device is functioning but cannot connect to the internet, first ensure you have the correct WiFi signal selected. Go to the settings, then the Network & Internet option. Click "Show Available Networks" and select your router's name then input the password if required. The internet should connect now.

If it still does not work, restart your device and connect again.

Typing either does nothing or only some buttons work

If when you type, nothing happens you might need to update the drivers on your keyboard. Open the windows start menu with the Windows button. Type in "Device Manager" and open the "Keyboards" dropdown. Select the option under it (it can be titled anything depending on your keyboard). Select "Driver" on the top and click update driver, browse my computer for available drivers, Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer, and then click the first option that shows up. This should update the driver for your keyboard. Restart the laptop and test your keyboard.

If it still does not work, your keyboard may be dirty. Remove the keycaps with a "Keycap Remover" tool and clean under them. To remove the keycap using the tool, wrap the the tool ends around a key and pull directly up. The cap will come off and you can clean under it using a q tip or with a compressed air can.

If it still does not work, your device may be faulty or broken. If you have warranty, contact the manufacturer to have it replaced. If not, you may need to bring it into a laptop repair shop for them to see what they can do.

The device is running slow and taking a while to load things or open menus

When your device is on and it takes a long time to open an application or applications itself is running slow, it may mean that you have low storage space. You can check this when going to the settings page. Go to general settings then storage. Clear up any files and old applications that are no longer in use and clear the cache as you go.

You can also close any windows or any applications that are open on your desktop or in the background as it uses CPU time and makes the performance of the device slower.

Another cause could be that the laptop is overheating because the fan is not working.

Audio is either distorted, making weird or improper noises. Or it may not be sounding at all

On the bottom right of the screen click the speaker button and click the dropdown to select the correct output device; either your speakers or headphones.

When the device is on and you try to play audio from the computer and it comes out muffled or distorted it means there's a problem. It could be the speaker system embedded in the computer. You will need to take apart the computer and replace the speaker with a new one you can buy online.
