Hi there! My name is Naara Perez and I am a fourth-year student at Cal Poly SLO majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. I was originally admitted as a Nutrition major but soon switched over because of the endless possibilities and educational freedom that Interdisciplinary studies brought me.

After I complete my undergraduate degree I hope to take a gap year to travel and vacation with my family as I love spending time with them. I am also looking to take prerequisites for a possible graduate program in Speech Pathology. But for now, I am open to anything and still trying to figure out how I want my future to look like.

My experience with actually fixing things is pretty minimal and the most recent thing I have fixed was my broken ice machine in my refrigerator back home. In the future, I would like to know how to fix older digital cameras as I like finding them secondhand either through thrift stores or eBay.

I am currently part of the Technical and Professional Communication program. I hope through this project of fixing up guides will tune my attention to detail and help aid me in my future if I choose to decide a full-time career in technical editing.
