Hello, my name is River Thompson. I am a student at the University of North Texas majoring in History. I plan to become a history teacher after I graduate.

I work as a Catering Manager at a local wedding venue on the weekends so I have less time for hobbies and clubs but here's a few things that I enjoy.

1. Reading books (usually on political and economic theory, I've been reading a lot of Antonio Gramsci)
2. Video Games (State of Decay 2, War Hammer 40k, Wukong, Red Dead Redemption 2)
3. I go to some Local concerts/shows around Denton and DFW
