Maybe check the connector for bent pins? From what I can tell, the problem probably isn't on the disc drive or the cables, since you've got new ones. However, the pins on the connector that connects the cable to the motherboard could be bent, which in certain circumstances would cause the disc drive to short. I would suggest you to inspect the connectors on the motherboard for debris and bent or deformed pins. Also, the motherboard might have been shorted somewhere because it got in contact with that layer of metal(dunno what that's called), so maybe you can put some insulating tape on there.
Saiba maisTry cleaning the ZIF connector and check the motherboard for corrosion. Could be those problems, since I’ve encountered them myself. Had a piece of goo or whatever it is stuck in the ZIF connector and caused my joystick to drift downwards even though I calibrated it. The solder might have disconnected for some reasons as well, so I would suggest you to check the whole area for any kind of damage.
Saiba maisThe touchscreen is connected to the switch via a ZIF connecter on the cartridge reader board, and as it seems, it would be unresponsive on certain areas or register ghost touch even if you just simply disconnect and reconnect the touchscreen flex cable. I had that problem as well, when I was swapping the outer casing of the Switch with a transparent one. (Really cool, by the way) Anyway, seems that the cartridge reader board that you bought does have a defective ZIF connector, as you said that the touchscreen works fine when you put the old one back. It might be too late to say this, but maybe you can get a refund or something? If you can't, then I suggest you to check the ZIF connector on the cartridge reader board and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. You might also want to check the press connector that connects the cartridge board to the motherboard, as it transfers the touchscreen input to the motherboard. Or, you can simply use the switch with the touchscreen flex disconnected, since basically...
Saiba maisYou can, and there are a lot of secondhand gimbals salvaged from wrecked drones sold at various prices. The repair itself is pretty complicated, but there is a guide on iFixit that would guide you through the steps. However, even if you have a perfectly functional gimbal, you still need the carnation software to calibrate the new gimbal so it can work properly, which only DJI have access to. The only solution for a broken gimbal is to send it back to DJI for repairs, which is exactly what they want, since they can make more money that way.
Saiba maisThat is actually a fake Joy-con, because the battery connecter on a real Joy-Con looked like this: (image from ifixit guide on replacing Joy-Con batteries) I've actually bought those fake Joy-Cons before. The motherboard was fake, the casing was crappy, and a lot of functions are missing, like IR and NFC. I would not recommend you to fix this, since there's no point(even the vibrator is from a cell phone and covered by black foam!) Instead, you could buy secondhand ones or just get a new set from Nintendo. Be sure to check whether it's real before you buy it!
Saiba maisActually, it might have been defective press connectors that connect the various components to the motherboard, rather than the motherboard itself. The iPhone 14 would shut down every three minutes if something's not connected, so the problem might be corroded press connectors on the motherboard. I once thought my 14 had a motherboard issue when I was replacing a shattered rear glass panel(it also kept restarting when I didn't connect a rear glass panel), but later when the replacement was installed, it stayed on without shutting down randomly. Also, you mentioned that your SIM card reader was 'outside the case', so that might have been the problem.
Saiba maisIt is annoying, but the Mini 4 Pro is only equipped with optical sensors, which are basically cameras that rely on video input and algorithms to tell whether there's obstacles ahead, and at night they're useless. DJI would actually warn you that the obstacle avoiding feature into going to function when the surroundings get dark and a message would pop up on the controller(at least on mine), so it's not an issue with the drone.
Saiba maisIt might be a problem with the rear cover, since the wireless charging pad ,the flashlight and a chip that helps the iPhone identify whether the rear cover is "genuine" is connected to the rear cover flex cable. When I was replacing the rear cover on my 15, the same problem occurs when I booted it without installing the rear cover. There has also been cases of iPhone 15s restarting randomly with a defective rear cover flex cable. You should probably check that cable and the press connector to see if there's anything wrong with it. There might be problems on the charging port as well, so I would suggest you to get a rear cover and a charging flex from a working 15 and also check the motherboard for any damage, since there could be disconnected solder points between the two layers of the motherboard that's causing the problem.
Saiba maisYou know, Apple do things in very confusing ways. If it is anything older than a series 4(i think), the new iOS system and the updated watch app would not pair it and say it's too old. It might just try to unpair all of a sudden, or sometimes the app updates and identifies the watch as "too old"for it and attempt to unpair, but leaves the watch paired even though it doesn't show up in the app. this basically leaves the watch like any other sport watch because all you can do on it is check your heart rate and your activity ring. I mean, Apple Watches are for checking messages and doing stuff without your phone, right? About the battery though. When you have problems connecting the battery cables, you probably should have stopped and see whether anything is wrong with the press connectors or whatever they're called. The batteries draining so fast is probably because of poor connection, which might cause overheating. I would advise you to check the connectors again, since it's best to be sure. The old swollen...
