Hello, it is terrible to hear that this is happening. It might help to remove the battery and then try turning it on with the power cord to isolate the possible problem to the battery. If this works, I suggest you get a new battery. Until then you could use it with the power cord. If it does not work, try this with battery and without battery: Plug the device into an external display, then when you boot into it, enter BIOS. You can enter this by pressing [DEL] or [F11]. If neither of these work, you may want to take it into a store to get a complete diagnosis. Good luck!
Try removing the battery, and while connected to the power cord boot up. If it is connected to power, it should still run fine. This is just to see if the battery is the issue. If this does not work, connect the laptop to an external screen and try booting with battery and without. Good Luck!
