If you want to find the defective one, its a good idea to remove ram and boot back up until the error is resolved. The first one to appear defective will be your defective one. Obviously keep going to make sure there arent multiple modules defective. Hopefully this helps. :)
Saiba maisBecause the term “Reference Memory” was used in the error, I have to say it might indeed be some sort of memory error. Any time the term “Memory” or other terms related to the term “Memory” is stated by an error message, That should indicate a memory issue because the error explicitly calls out the system memory as the source of the problem. though, sometimes the issue is implicitly called out meaning that thorough investigation may be necessary due to it being less obvious. Look for special terms to find out only if the error explicitly calls out a specific component.
Saiba maisSometimes the problems do not relate to a hardware problem. For example, The cause of your problem could be the result of the line being busy, or the signal dropped.
Saiba maisGenerally, you cannot fix motherboards due to the soldered components on the motherboard. However, you can replace the motherboard even if it is a laptop. First make sure to note what screws are holding the bottom cover in place and use the required tools. Also, make sure that you are 100% sure that it is actually the motherboard even if the information provided to you is highly reputable. Generously, Richard Smith
Saiba maisHere’s some key things to review: (1) Has the memory been recently replaced(Memory only lasts 2-3 Years) (2) Has the CPU been recently replaced(CPU only lasts 3-4 Years) (3) Have you reset the CMOS (4) Have you tried replacing the CMOS Battery(Typically replaceable with a CR2032 Cell Batery) (5) Is your CPU compatible with your motherboard(Sometimes a new CPU will not play nicely with your motherboard) (6) Are you using DDR2-400(PC2-3200) or DDR2-667(PC2-5300) Sometimes new components will not play nicely with older systems. Check the compatibility of all of your components. Generously, Richard Smith
Saiba maisI would definitely donate the devices, It helps share the love with the rest of the world and you will never regret doing so. It feels great to donate desktops or any other electronics to people in need. In the meantime, I will brainstorm ideas with my team and get back with you on the basis of more ideas. Good Luck, Richard Smith
