Open the side clamps on the edges of the slot you plan to install RAM in.

It is recommended that you take your time on this part. Do not be scared to open up the other RAM slots so you can see what it should look like when the RAM stick is in securely. If you open up the slots of the RAM already in, all you have to do is press the RAM back down in the same position in order for the slot to close securely once again.

Position the RAM and slowly slide it into the slot. Push it firmly into the slot until it is secure, then close the side clamps around it.

There should be a small click as the chip engages.
