In this guide, instructions will be laid out to guide the replacement of the Huawei P8 Lite's motherboard.

Before starting, please refer to the device's teardown guide to get started.

Remove the SIM card tray.
Use the SIM Card Eject Tool to click the pins located in two small holes on the side of the phone.

Remove the back cover.
The cover is not fastened with screws or adhesive, so you can use your finger nails, plastic spudger or other tools.

Use the screwdrivers from 54 Bit Driver Kit to undo the screws. Be sure to keep the screws separated on your work surface to avoid confusion during the assembly.

Gently pull the connectors attached to the motherboard to disconnect them. See the highlighted areas in the photos.
These connectors are extremely fragile, so avoid using any kind of tools and make sure to be extremely gentle in the process.

Remove the motherboard carefully.
Replace the motherboard with the new one. To reassempble the phone, follow the teardown process guide in the reverse order.
