Today we're looking at how to replace a CMOS battery in a Dell Latitude 3500.

  1. Dell Latitude 3500 CMOS Battery Replacement, Remove screws: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • 10 screws hold the bottom cover in place -- these stay in the bottom cover.

    • Using a spudger will make quick work of this step.

  4. Dell Latitude 3500 CMOS Battery Replacement, Disconnect and Remove Battery: passo 3, imagem 1 %32

    • Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.

    • Remove the 4 screws holding it in place

    • Battery can now be removed from device.

    • Small latch holding it in place
