How can I disassemble the Comfort Lapdesk?
I've owned this Logitech Lapdesk for several months and basically it is a good thing. The design is great, it looks good ,it is comfortable and small and compact. It does everything I want except hold my MacBook! The computer is constantly sliding down the smooth incline surface. What were those engineers thinking? I am a cabinetmaker and would like to veneer the desk surface but I can not find the key for pulling the thing apart. I know this is a little beyond your usual range but is there anyone who can help with this problem?

For maintenance and cleaning the N700: The panels over the speakers on the left and right just clip off. There's no screws for them. You have to get your finger right in the joins the first time of removing, but once they are off you will then see 8 screws (4 each side) of the middle panel covering the fan. You won't see the screws until the speaker panels are removed. Undo the 8 middle panel screws and you can then remove that too. It's quite tough to pull the panel off but once all 8 screws are out, just get into the joins at the top and bottom and pull - it clips out. You then have access to the fan to clean it. I'm not sure if you can go further and take the fan out, I didn't go that far. It's easily cleaned without removing. Then obviously putting back together is just the reverse of the above. Really easy.

Working long hours on the laptop itself can lead to a lot of stress to the body. Product innovators are always looking to offer things that can reduce the level of stress caused by using electronic devices. That is why using a Lap Desk with Light can be very beneficial to you.
