Why it doesnt work on

I won the cam 8 months ago and it doesnt work i keep it all the time in my car and now i went to do snorkling and the red sea and it signed for me ( too hot shutting down ) and keeps turning on and off many times then now thefront red lid light in the front arear to charge but and then every thing is going off
