The water level pressure switch only detects the level of the water, be it hot or cold or warm i.e. both hot and cold are used, not its temperature.
There is no temperature sensor in the washer section of the combo unit. The machine either opens the hot water inlet valve only, the cold only or both, depending on what you have selected as the temperature.

If you want a really hot water wash you will need to baby sit the machine and manually fill it, from the laundry tub hot water tub, after having let the hot water run off first into the laundry tub until it is really hot coming out of the faucet.
