Go to p.75 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the trackpad.
Replacement trackpads are available online. Just search for ''5M10W51786 or 5M10W51787'' to get results for suppliers that suit you.
Apologies for any confusion regarding the part numbers, but there are two trackpads listed in the parts list for the laptop. They are interchangeable as they are listed as a substitute part for each other. Usually the part number can be found somewhere on the part itself if you wish to verify that you’re getting the same one.
-Just querying how old is the laptop as it seems to be a recent release? If it is <12 months old maybe get it fixed under warranty. Just a thought.
