Device Will Not Power On
Symptoms of this are device will not turn on, regardless of charge time, or has a short battery life
Faulty Battery

Symptoms of this are the device's disk drive does not read CD, nor does it open
Disk Drive Stuck

Broken Disk Drive

Device Runs Slow and Crashes
Symptoms of this are device has been running slow, and crashes irregularly
Device crashes irregulary
Make sure that the power adapter is plugged in. If the device turns on but then crashes in use, then the hard drive disk needs to be replaced. Follow this guide for step-by-step on how to replace the Hard Drive Disk.

Device Is Running Slow
Symptoms of this are device experiences frequent crashes, displays a blue screen, or turns on but fails to boot (displays an error message immediately after turning on)
Device displays a blue screen
Power device off then on. Once a rotating circle appears, press and hold power botton until device powers off. Repeat until “Preparing Automatic Repair” appears on screen. Let device boot “Automatic Repair”; select, “Advanced Options”; and click “Troubleshoot”. Select “Refresh your PC” and follow screen instructions unitl recovery is done.
Defective RAM
Make sure that the power adapter is plugged in, as power surges can cause damage to RAM. If the device does not turn on or fails to boot, then the RAM will need to be replaced. Follow this guide for step-by-step on how to replace the RAM.
Device Overheats
Symptoms of this are device is experiencing device overheating, making excessive/loud noises, or sudden power-off without notification
Dusty Cooling Fan
If the device feels hot to the touch it may be overheating. Check to see that the device's cooling fan is working properly and determine if it needs replacement. If upon inspection, the cooling fan is covered in dust, you may need to clean off this dust using a can of compressed air. Here is how to reveal the device's cooling fan and remove the dust. When the device has been running powerful software or has just been running without a fan cleaning for too long, it can experience overheating, excessive whirring noise, slow function, and shortened device life.
Device is Overheated

Device Does Not Type
Symptoms of this are device is missing keys, nor keys are not working
Missing/Stuck Keys
If a key on the keyboard is stuck, check to see that there is nothing in between the keys preventing the key from pressing down. If you spot something, use a can of compressed air to shoot short bursts of air to remove any debris. If this is not the problem, the key may require replacement.
