My camera is not responding..It turns on and it takes pictures but all the buttons and the zoom are not working..I suspect that some sand inside it is causing the problem..Do you think that by tearing it down and cleaning it I might solve the problem? Thanks

I broke my display doing this :( I suggest you not to do it if you are not 100 % sure of yours skills.
