| [* black] Once you have the back end facing you, you will want to locate the cylindrical connectors from the Top Door to the device. To locate these connectors, you will want to look for the small rectangles along the backside of the device. For every two rectangles, there is one cylindrical connector in between the two. | |
| [* black] To remove the Top Door, wedge one or two iFixit opening picks within the seam connecting the Top Door to the device, and use the iFixit opening tool to pry in an upwards motion along the seam. These actions should reveal the cylindrical connectors. | |
| [* black] Once the cylindrical connectors are visible, press down on the Top Door, and push outwards, to free it from the jointed clasps. Once this step has been completed, you will have successfully removed the Top Door and a replacement can be deposited into the previous Top Door’s place. | |
