Introduction |
In November 2016, Toshiba released a battery recall that affected a majority of Toshiba Satellite Laptops. This requires the full removal and replacement of the internal battery. Before beginning this process, make sure that the device is unplugged and the the device is off. Also note any visible battery defects as they could be signs of a leaking or deformed battery. Danger: operating on a deformed battery will lead to burns and exposure to harmful chemicals. | | Toshiba sent a battery recall for many of their laptops in November 2016.
