Introduction	Use this guide to test and replace the water dispensing switch on your LG refrigerator. ***This guide will work for most LG refrigerators.*** This guide is written with an LG model LFX25973 refrigerator. If you have a different model, you may encounter some minor disassembly differences, but the overall repair process will be the same. The water dispensing switch triggers a solenoid valve in the refrigerator so that it dispenses chilled water through the dispenser. If the switch fails, the refrigerator will either not dispense water or won't stop dispensing water. The repair is moderately difficult. The removal of the dispensing unit is probably the most challenging step.
