Introduction
After prolonged use of the headphones, one earbud isn’t producing clear audio – decreased volume or no sound. The reason is that the connected wires from the earbud to the circuit board are loosened or disconnected.
Steps 5 and 6 require [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+To+Solder+and+Desolder+Connections/750|de-soldering the connections|new_window=true] on the circuit board and the earbud and soldering it in place.
Before beginning, make sure to power off the headphones completely.
