I need to replace a speaker on a Yamaha YPG-625 88 note digital piano .....is this the same thing I should do like the piano you are showing on this web sight ? Also the big screen in the middle of the piano that says what tone you select and the drum patterns is sorta kinda going out ! could it be just getting dirty and need contact cleaning ? The place that sells these Yamaha pianos said they would have to send it away to have the repairs done and the cost would be OVER $500.00 ! Any help would be greatly helpful ! I replaced my DGX 640’s bad speakers with PHILIPS 5.5 inch, 3 way car speakers. I never liked the DGX’s sound. They are dull and too mellow. Oh. man! Now, after replacing the onboard speakers, they sound crisp. I realized that Yamaha is not my parents. They need to earn profit, pay salaries. So, obviously, like all consumer products,m they are not well built. The speakers in those keyboards are not exceptions. They are cheaply made.
I need to replace the speaker of my Yamaha psr535 what is the size of the speaker to prepare before dismantling the keyboard? and what is the best speaker to replace it?
