This guide will provide you step-by-step instructions to successfully replace your Toshiba Satellite E45t-B4204 laptop's trackpad.

The trackpad is used as a built in cursor control function to navigate through on screen actions. If the trackpad is failing to move the cursor around the screen, then you will need to replace it in order to continue using the laptop.

For your safety, please ensure that the laptop is completely powered off, unplugged, and that you have grounded any static on you before continuing.

    • Remove the 15 screws holding the back panel in place with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.
