Shower Head Replacement

Do you have a leaky shower head, or just want to replace it with the newest model? Use this guide for a stress-free installation

    • Use your hand to loosen the old shower head from the pipe. This should be fairly easy, as most shower heads have a textured grip on the joint.

    • Make sure the water is turned off to the shower.

    • Once the shower head is loosened, remove it and set it aside.

    • Remove the old plumbing tape from the threads of the pipe, and throw it away.

    • Grab your roll of plumbing tape and wrap the tape approximately twice around the threads of the pipe.

    • Be sure to wrap the tape tightly to prevent leaks.

    • Begin installing the new shower head by threading it onto the pipe.

    • Use your hands to tighten the new shower head back onto the pipe, using a wrench if needed.

    • Make sure it is tightly connected!

    • Turn on the water and enjoy your new shower head!
