Turn off the central water valve. It is typically located outside.
Use a spudger or your fingers to remove the rubber plug, near the center of the faucet handle.

Use a screwdriver to remove the screw inside the handle.

However, after some research, we found out this problem was only a 10-minute fix. This problem can cause more unnecessary trash because many times people will end up buying new facets.
