If the prints produced by your HP Deskjet 2624 are faded, use this guide to replace the ink cartridges.

Ink cartridges store a printer’s ink. Low levels of ink cause prints to be lighter than normal.

  1. HP Deskjet 2624 Ink Cartridges Replacement, Ink Cartridges: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • Unplug all of the cords from the printer and put paper into the input tray.

    • Lower the output tray and the ink cartridge access door.

    • Lightly press forward on the cartridge to release it and then pull the cartridge straight out.

    • The slot on the left is the tri-color cartridge while the black cartridge is on the right.

    • On the new cartridge, pull the colored tab to remove the plastic.

    • Hold the replacement with the nozzles toward the printer and insert it at an upward angle.

    • Push the cartridge forward until it snaps into place.

    • Repeat steps two and three if necessary.
