Instead of taking the watch to a professional, replacing the battery can be done quickly and easily in the comfort of your own home. Here we will teach you to remove the battery and put a new one in with a few simple steps.

Keep clasp in open position.

Push one of the spring-loaded pins out of the hole with a Push-pin.

Wiggle watch band and clasp till free from each other.

Fit the blades of a pair of scissors into the grooves of the screw back.

Twist the screw back counter clockwise with the scissors.

Once the back is loose enough, you can use your fingers to twist it off.

Place the tweezers around the battery.

Firmly grip the battery with the tweezers.

Pull the battery out and replace it with a new 371 Renata watch battery.
