Dell XPS 17 9710 Audio Jack Replacement

Ir para o passo 1If the audio jack in your Dell XPS 17 9710 is not detecting a device or malfunctioning in any way, you may need to replace it.
Before using this guide, check that there isn't any debris in your audio port. If there is, turn off the device completely, and use compressed air to clean it out.
Before beginning, make sure to completely power off the device.

Remove eight 5 mm screws from the back panel using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

Use the opening tool to loosen the panel on all sides and then lift it from the device.

Remove three 3 mm screws that hold the audio jack in place using a JIS #1 screwdriver.

Remove the audio jack from the laptop.
