The fan often needs replacement if the device is overheating or making loud noises while running. Some common tools will be needed for this replacement, such as a T6 Torx screwdriver and a Phillips #01 screwdriver. To determine if the fan needs to be replaced, please refer to this device's troubleshooting page.

  1. Acer Aspire S7-392-6484 Fan Replacement, Fan: passo 1, imagem 1 %32 Acer Aspire S7-392-6484 Fan Replacement, Fan: passo 1, imagem 2 %32

    • Remove the back panel by unscrewing all marked 3mm screws with a T6 Torx screwdriver.

    • Remove these screws with a T6 Torx screwdriver, but note that these feet screws are 4mm in length.

    • Unscrew the marked 2mm screws with a Phillips #01 screwdriver.

    • Remove the fan by disconnecting the marked tabs.
