To change out the battery there is a slide out door on the bottom to gain access to the sealed Lead Acid battery inside.

@usmeeabdo there are two lead acid batteries that provide the backup power. There is a resettable fuse in the back, in case your issue is related to now coming on. To actually work on it, use something like this video for a complete teardown. If you have any specific issues with your UPS let us know what those issues are. That way we can be more specific.
