Z2 Speaker forgets it's name

My speaker is a few years old and everything works fine except that it will forget it’s Airplay device name. It happens randomly, but usually after one or two days. I then have to reset the name using the iOS app. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Could there be a battery backup for the config that has failed?
