Histórico de "Why does my dmg screen not turn on"

I recently soldered in new battery terminals for the gameboy the red light turns on but the screen does not the contrast whell does nothing even after i cleaned it and the speaker also make a really loud hissing noise and the volume whell doesn't help with that either. If I were to get a ips screen would it work.
