I’ve tried just about every suggestion I could find to fix this issue. I finally took it into the Apple store, and they blamed it on a weak battery. Since they said they can’t replace the battery, they offered me a brand new Gen 1 iPad Pro for $100. It worked ok for about 6 months, but now the problem has returned. I was just about ready to buy a brand new Pro, and I took off my Otterbox case to look over my iPad, and suddenly for the first time in months, it working flawlessly. So is it the Case even though nothing is over the screen? Don’t know, but it’s working for me so far.
