Sometimes these watches are extremely delicate that even a screen damage can be a lot of trouble since everything is inside of the device including the speakers. I would suggest you to replace the screen if possible, if not most likely that watch will need to be replace. We all know that Apple products now a days after the main guy died, they are not as good as they used to be.
