Histórico de "Nordictrack c2200 starts at full speed"

Hello, my Nordictrack c2200 starts at full speed, and won't adjust down. The speed control works, but after “reducing “ the speed down a couple of notches, it just turns off. I have tried using the reset button on the bottom front right of the unit, and unplugging it, but neither have made a difference. I can't seem to find this exact issue anywhere online.
