Check your fuel pressure, make sure that it is adequate and perform a regular tune up (things like new spark plugs, fuel filter etc.) After that check to see if this is caused by a clogged catalytic converter. To test is you would need things like back-pressure gauge, vacuum gauge and laser thermometer etc, so you might want to consider getting it check by somebody that has those tools.
