Twist off the bolt that holds the glass dome up.

After this, it is helpful to have a second person. If you let go of the dome, it will fall and possibly break.

Until you screw the bolt back on, make sure you have someone holding the dome in place.

You are working with a glass dome. If the dome drops it could break. Glass shards can cause injury.
