Place a piece of tape on both sides of the new lock to ensure the lock does not move when placing the screws.

Make sure the enough tape is placed on the lock as it may fall off depending on the weight of the door lock.

Place a cloth or container underneath the lock in case it falls off to ensure no damage is done to the floor or the surrounding area.
