The wheel will be heavy. You should brace yourself to bear the weight. Seek help if the wheel is too heavy for you.

Grab the wheel with both hands and pull the wheel straight off and away from the car.

Do not risk dropping the wheel onto the brake rotor, which would cause damage to it.
