Hintergrund und Identifikation
Die PlayStation 2 SCPH-900xx erschien am 22. November 2007; äußerlich wurde sie minimal überarbeitet. Hauptunterschied zu den vorherigen Revisionen ist das nun integrierte Netzteil, das das Gesamtgewicht der Konsole auf 720 g erhöht.
Das xx im Titel ist ein Platzhalter für die verschiedenen Regionalcodes. Diese sind unten aufgeschlüsselt:
- SCPH-90000: Japan
- SCPH-90001: Nordamerika (USA und Kanada)
- SCPH-90002: Ozeanien (Australien und Neuseeland)
- SCPH-90003: Vereinigtes Königreich und Irland
- SCPH-90004: Europa, Mittlerer Osten und Afrika
- SCPH-90005: Südkorea
- SCPH-90006: Hongkong
- SCPH-90007: Republik China (Taiwan)
- SCPH-90008: Russland
